Why do we need creativity anyway?
August 21, 2006 on 5:11 am | In Self Improvement |Creativity is outmost important in our life. People become unhappy when they feel that outside forces prevent them from expressing them selves creatively. Pretty much all loss is associated in one way or another with our ability or freedom to do something that we love, to express our selves.
So what do we need creativity for? Well the answer is simple - it is one of the tools we as human beings use to make our lives more fulfilling and content. It is an integral part of our existence and if we ignore it, we will not die, but surely experience a lack that comes from not having a complete existence. This concept is very similar to debating the importance of having two arms. Is it important to have two or can you manage without? There is plenty of people that do manage without an arm. But having both of your arms greatly improves the quality of life. So is creativity important? My answer is without a doubt!
